Yarn
Yarn count converter
Denier ↔ Ne (count) ↔ Nm ↔ tex ↔ dtex, plus denier per filament from 75/36.
Ends from reed
Reed × ends per dent × width + selvedge = total ends on the beam.
Yarn for an order

Guides
How to work out a taka's weight
The scale tells you what a taka weighs. The formula tells you what it should weigh. The gap between the two tells you whether the quality is being woven right.
Denier vs count (Ne): the difference and the formulas
Polyester is sold by denier, viscose and cotton usually by count. Your costing has to use one unit — so you need to convert between them.
Loom efficiency: how to work it out and how to raise it
The loom runs at 600 RPM, but how much cloth did the shift actually give? Efficiency is the number that tells you how long the loom really wove.
How many takas will a beam give?
The beam is on the loom — now, how many takas will come off it, and how short will the last one be? Knowing this up front lets you plan the order, the weavers and the next beam.
GST on grey fabric and on job work — the plain sums.
A weaving unit raises two kinds of invoice: one for selling its own grey fabric, and one for weaving charges on a party's beam and yarn. Here is how GST works on each, with numbers.
What is ITC-04 for job work — and when a weaving unit files it.
Grey went to the process house, or your beam went to an outside job weaver — the goods are still yours, not sold. Under GST you report them through ITC-04.
Interest and credit days — count the days, get the rupees.
Cloth goes out on credit and money comes back 30–60 days later. When it's late, interest is due. The sum is simple — you just have to count the days right.
Moving from your old software — without stopping work.
Years of data, the munim's habits and parties' dues — that's what makes switching feel risky. Done in the right order, it's a day or two of work.
Bring your unit to Loomiro.
We move your data over from your old software, then show you a demo on your own unit's numbers.
